Some of those sceptical about the overthrow of Gadaffi in Libya, argued that his removal would usher in extreme Islamists into the region.
In some parts of the country extreme Islamists have moved into the power vacuum. But the news that Islamists have been turfed out of Benghazi, and that Authorities have given Islamists two days to leave their 'bases', suggests there is a real determination to reject Dictatorship - in any shape or form.
This is hugely important - it is a rare in the Middle East, for the people to move against Islamists. It is also a rejection of the violence orchestrated by Islamists - in a number of Arab and African countries - following the publication of the amateur and obscure video, produced in the US, mocking the Islamic religion.
The Libyan people are rejecting jumping from the frying pan of Gadaffi to the fire of Islamism.
