As regular readers will know, I have campaigned to stop the "Big Ben tax" of £15 per visitor, which had been planned by the authorities.
As you can see from the email above, I was delighted this morning to get official confirmation that the campaign has been successful.
Until 2015 at least, it will remain free for Harlow people to visit Big Ben.
