Life is complete. I met Wagner today from X Factor. He was in Harlow at the Football Stadium, as part of the Celeb Team v local Police in aid of Princess Alexandra Hospital. After Wagner, gave a rendition of Ol Sole Mio and Bob Dylan's Knocking on Heavens Door. Vanda was of course delighted to chat to her Brazilian compatriot! Wagner was accompanied by other X Factor stars and also some of the cast from The Only Way Is Essex. This is Wagner's second visit to our town, proving that to him at least, the only way is Harlow.
It was a fun afternoon. A great occasion. - with a packed stadium - and organised entirely by Harlow Police. They deserve a fantastic round of applause.
I really enjoyed meeting the players before the match started and was pleased that the Prime Minister agreed to donate a bottle of signed whisky to support the event.
