If you want to know what is wrong with some of our education system, watch this video of Deputy Head-Teacher Katharine Burbalsingh, when she spoke to the Conservative Party conference last week. After she spoke out, she was suspended by her school head-teacher, who is thought to be close to the Labour Party and helped Tony Blair with his election launch in 2005. Some people don't like the truth.
It is well worth reading Ms Burbalsingh's article as well in the Daily Mail. Click on THIS Link.

Hi Robert, delighted to see you support Katharine and her right to speak out about what all teachers and students know to be true. You may be aware that she was, in effect, suspended for speaking out. According to the statement given to the press on Friday evening she will be going back. I'd be surprised if she does without assurances from the school that she will be supported. They have humiliated her in public - sending her home and implying her behaviour has child protection implications. If if I were her I'd expect at the least a full meeting with the staff and a letter to parents/statement on the website stating the school's support her right to speak her views freely and removing any doubt that she has behaved in any way other than professionally. There is a FB group to support her (just under 300 people in 3 days) and over 7000 people have seen her speech to Conference on YouTube. I hope you will use your position to support her as this goes on.
