Do you ever wonder about the future of warfare? Well, imagine a war without soldiers. Instead, the war is completed by remote control, as un-manned aircaft and other weaponry are used in battle against the enemy. Hard to imagine, but it is increasing possible for war to be conducted from 'operation centres' with out ever having to step on the battlefield. So you can orgaanise a weapon shoot out after lunch, and once completed go home to dinner
This kind of warfare is slowly becoming reality. In Afghanistan for example, the US, uses unmanned Drones, to wage war against the Taleban. Just over a week ago, senior Al Qaeda operative Anwar al-Alwlaki was killed by an Americann Drone operated by controllers in the Nevada Desert. Directed from a control room in the US, the Drones are used to bomb key targets and individuals. As well as Drones, there alre also spy planes and nano-weapons, which are minute mobile machines that can conduct surveillance in houses and other buildings.
