To Harlow Livewire tonight to watch a great play created by local teenagers called 'The Machine'.
It was an original story, written by the participants themselves. Sort of 1984 meets Logans Run. At the end I was asked to give a short speech: I said that Harlow was a better place with Livewire in it. Embedded in our community, supported by local schools, Livewire gives young people a chance to express artistic and theatrical talent. A really great - and inspirational - evening.
