Today I spoke in a Westminster Hall debate on free school meals for further education students, especially those within FE colleges.

The key point is that at the moment - although Harlow College do the best they can to help poorer students - there is simply not a level playing-field between FE colleges and other schools and 6th Forms.
I urged the Government to address this. But also to make free school meals conditional not only on attendance but also on hard work and getting good reports from teachers.
