It is great that cookery classes for young children are now being offered in Harlow.
Kiddy Cook runs sessions for four to 11-year-olds at the Friends Meeting House, Church Leys, Harlow, on the last Saturday of every month.
The sessions offer hands-on recipes, gastronomic experiments, a chance for the children to learn about 'good' food while making friends and having fun.
Simone Teese, who runs the classes, said: "Kiddy Cook provides unique cooking classes and parties for children aged two to 11 years.
"It encourages them to learn about good food and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way.
"During each session children have fun with hands on recipes and experiments that stimulate their minds, their appetites and their kitchen creativity.
"We also do school holiday workshops and parties. I am fully CRB checked."
Simone also holds group activity sessions for toddlers, aged two to four years, which promote healthy eating and food awareness and help children create easy-to-make recipes.
The children can also join in music, games and activities based around food and cooking.
Sessions are held at Colt Hatch Social Club between 1pm and 1.45pm on Fridays.
Other days are available on request.
