I drove to the
House of Commons early today from Harlow, ready to meet
Downs School who were on their second visit. A number of teachers and young students - armed with sandwiches - had travelled to Westminster - to tour around Parliament. I was pleased to have helped to arrange the visit - especially as all the pupils had a great time. Whatever the image that the Public have of some our politicians, at least our Parliament, still captures the imagination.
