I have just been to one of the best events I have ever attended in Harlow. At a special festival, Harlow's best writers were reading extracts from their finest work. We heard a selection of poems and literary extracts that ranged from the serious to the dead pan to great original humour.
Although the event was two hours long, one didn't notice the time, as the writing was so good and the authors brilliant in their expression.
Harlow Writers Group is one of the best things Harlow has. I will definitely be going next year. I went away with loads of homework as I couldn't resist picking up a few of the books on offer!
